Getting Started

How do I get started in MindSpark?
You’ll usually begin through a class or project set up by your teacher. Once inside, you’ll see your projects, daily tasks, and your Roadmap showing what you’re working toward.

What is “My Roadmap”?
My Roadmap shows how your work connects to skills and learning standards over time. It helps you understand what you’ve completed, what’s in progress, and what’s next.

Do I have to work at the same pace as everyone else?
No. MindSpark is designed for flexible pacing. You can move faster in areas you understand and take more time where you need it.

Working on Projects

Where do I see my tasks and deadlines?
Each project includes clearly defined stages and tasks. Your current work and upcoming expectations are always visible in your project view.

Is my work saved automatically?
Yes. MindSpark saves your progress as you work, especially when connected to tools like Google Docs.

What if I don’t understand a task or feel stuck?
You can always access our Ignite Help feature, and our support agent, Satori, will be there to assist you in resolving issues or questions.

Access & Issues

Using MindSpark in the Classroom

What is MindSpark designed to support?
MindSpark supports project-based, mastery-based, and personalized learning by connecting student work to standards, progress tracking, and reflection.

How does MindSpark handle standards alignment?
Projects and tasks are mapped to learning standards so student progress is visible, defensible, and aligned—without reducing learning to checkboxes.

Monitoring Progress

Can I view progress for individual students or groups?
Yes. Teachers can review progress by student, group, or class and compare planned standards to demonstrated mastery.

Can I support students working at different paces?
Yes. MindSpark is built to handle flexible pacing while still giving teachers clear visibility into progress and support needs.

Tools, Access & Support

Do I need technical expertise to use MindSpark?
No. MindSpark is designed for educators, not engineers. Most workflows are intuitive and guided.

What if I can’t see a student, class, or project?
You can always access our Ignite Help feature, and our support agent, Satori, will be there to assist you in resolving issues or questions.

How is AI used in MindSpark?
